My name is Andrew, and I’m an amateur photographer currently residing in the vibrant city of Seattle, Washington. I’m passionate about capturing life through the lens, and this blog is a testament to my travels and explorations.

My love for photography began when I was merely 13, armed with nothing but a Soviet-era Smena-8M camera. The experience of immortalizing the world around me with this rudimentary but enchanting piece of technology was my first step into this fascinating world. It wasn’t long before I upgraded to a Zenit, honing my skills and eye for capturing unique moments.
At present, my primary ally in my photographic journey is the robust and versatile Nikon Z5 camera. This equipment has significantly aided in honing my skills and conveying my creative vision. However, adhering to the popular saying that the best camera is the one you have at hand, I post photographs taken not only with the Z5 but also with other cameras and smartphones I’ve used over time.
My primary subjects include landscapes, nature, and street photography. Through my lens, I strive to capture not just the visual beauty of these subjects, but also their underlying emotions and stories. Each photograph for me is a narrative, a slice of time forever frozen and waiting to be explored and interpreted.
In this blog, I share with you the fruits of my journey, from the soaring peaks of the Cascades to the bustling streets of downtown Seattle, and beyond. Every picture tells a story, and every story is a part of my journey.
